This was our first trip to Rajasthan - Three families with the youngest being 2 years old and the oldest being 70 years old. I did not know where to begin in planning the trip. I came across the reviews of Golden Villa at Jaisalmer where every one praised the owner of the place, Mr. Deepak, for planning everything and ensuring that their trip to Rajasthan was smooth and enjoyable. On a whim, I reached out to Deepak to book rooms at Golden Villa. On learning that we were planning to visit Jaisalmer and Jodhpur, he offered to plan our entire trip. I agreed and he kept his promise of making our trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible. From the moment we landed at the Jodhpur airport, he took care of every single thing for us be it the transportation, food, stays at Jodhpur, Jaisalmer fort and Jaisalmer desert, our activities for everyday - everything was planned until we took our flight back home. When there was a rare hiccup in the planning, I just had to call him and everything was taken care of. His hospitality amazed us. He was there to greet us and take care of our families and our needs every instance possible. If you're planning a trip to Rajasthan, especially to Jaisalmer, do reach out to Deepak. A very good hotel with prime location to visit, rooms are very neat and clean decorated with beautiful theme which makes you feel that you are actually living in Royal villa. Also living in this hotel inside fort is perfect. Food is delicious with many options in menu with a very reasonable price with great taste. Satyajit Roy in his milestone film named "Sonar Kella" (1974) , added the mystery of this truly Royal Fort . That unending mystery multiplies day by day with it's age-old temples , awe-inspiring shops , story-soaked lanes , inhabitants of ancient Bramhins & Rajputs of glorious past along with sky-touching architectures . The Golden Villa Resort of Shri Dipak Gopa , an energetic youth with gorgeous appearance made our stay in Sonar Kella a lifetime experience . Larger rooms with antique decor & lavish aristrocacy turned ours' (me - a simple Govt. officer along with my spouse & daughter - an engineering student) living the straightly relaxing one . Round-the-clock hot & drinking water are just faithful companions like Kinglike security of the entire vicinity . A rooftop restaurant of theirs' own provides sumptuous breakfast , launch & dinner at the affordable cost . Mundane lives suddenly turned Royal , when you simply gaze the majestic ambience of Jaysalmer from Golden Villa's huge windows . Unforgettable taste of tea & coffee run hand-in-hand with unmatched warmness of Dipak , who mingles profession & passion in his heartfelt hospitality . So his associates like well-informed young guides who lead you to hidden mysteries of the Fort , Palace & Temples along with wonderful expertise in mobile photography !
